The DEWALT DCE555N-XJ is an 18V XR brushless drywall cut out tool designed for fast, accurate cut-outs in plasterboard and drywall. It is useful for cutting openings for electrical boxes, spotlights, vents, access panels and other fitting work.

The brushless motor provides efficient cordless performance and is built for regular site use. As part of the DEWALT 18V XR cordless system, it works with compatible DEWALT XR batteries, giving users cordless freedom without relying on a mains lead.

A removable depth guard allows the cutting depth to be set accurately, helping control the cut and reduce the risk of cutting too deep. The removable dust guard helps support cleaner working while still keeping the cutting line visible.

Tool-free collet access allows drywall bits to be removed without a wrench or spanner, making bit changes quicker on site. The slim body gives a comfortable grip and better control in different cutting positions, while the dust-proof button switch helps protect the switch mechanism from drywall dust.

The built-in LED light improves visibility around the cutting area. This tool-only model includes a general purpose bit, drywall cutting bit, 3.2mm collet, 6.4mm collet, cutting depth guide and dust removal guard. Battery and charger are not included.
