The DEWALT DCL040-XJ is an 18V XR LED pivot light for general work lighting, confined spaces and areas where mains power is not available. It is a compact cordless light for site work, workshops, garages, lofts, cupboards, under-stair spaces and maintenance jobs.

The LED bulb produces 110 lumens with a 2-zone light pattern, giving useful visibility for close-up work and general task lighting. The LED is designed for long service life, with a listed bulb life of up to 10,000 hours.

The flashlight head pivots more than 90° vertically and locks into position, allowing the beam to be aimed where it is needed. This is useful when working hands-free, checking behind fittings, lighting up work areas or positioning the light on a bench or floor.

An integrated hanging hook gives another way to position the light, while the free-standing design allows it to be placed on flat surfaces during use. The rubber grip and ergonomic shape make it comfortable to handle, and the impact-resistant housing supports regular jobsite use.

This tool-only model runs on compatible DEWALT 18V XR batteries. Battery and charger are not included.
